MICHAEL
BERKELEY is the composer/lyricist/librettist of Imagine
That!, Off The Wall,
and Dirty Doings In Deadwood; the composer/ lyricist/co-writer of
Rip Van Winkle; and the co-creator/arranger of the critically-acclaimed
Irving Berlin revue I Love
A Piano (available through Rodgers & Hammerstein Theatricals).
He has served as the Artistic Director of TriArts’ Sharon
Playhouse (Sharon, CT) since 1999. As an Equity actor, Michael
has appeared on stages across the country since 1980.
He has been a member of New York’s prestigious
BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and the ASCAP Composers
Workshop.
Michael has also created concerts for Potential
Unlimited, an arts organization dedicated to the celebration of the
talents of performers with developmental disabilities.
For the past twenty years, his passion for children’s
theatre has taken him around the country, where he has served as
musical director and/or director for many productions. |
